Blackwell Tower is a building in Kings Court which is secretly a rocket. It is the tallest building in LEGO City.
History[]
Blackwell Tower was built by Forrest Blackwell as a secret rocket to get to his civilization on the Moon. The building is under construction during the events of LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins.
In Special Assignment - Breaking and Reentering, Chase discovers that Blackwell plans to fly to the moon. He realizes that Forrest Blackwell is planning to launch the tower to the moon, and he gets the police to clear the area. He and Professor Kowalski get the shields from Kowalski's lab and put them up around the rocket to prevent it from destroying the neighborhood. Kowalski hacks into the rocket to slow the countdown and discovers that Natalia Kowalski is on board.
In Special Assignment - Fly Me to the Moon, Chase McCain flies to the moon colony. He enters Blackwell's rocket and causes it to take off back toward the earth. In a rage, Blackwell brings out Rex Fury in his T-Rex mech (obtained from the museum in Special Assignment - The Colossal Fossil Hustle), and forces Natalia to watch the fight. Chase defeats Rex by throwing barrels at his mech with his own yellow mech. Meanwhile, as Blackwell sees that Chase is winning, he takes Natalia and a few others with him to the command capsule. Then, he causes the rocket to self-destruct.
As the remnants of the rocket fly in the sky, Rex Fury emerges and proceeds to attempt to kill Chase. Chase defeats Rex by throwing astronauts at him. Afterwards, the rocket explodes and Chase falls down. Blackwell flies away in his escape pod. Natalia is still in the command capsule. She tries to reach Chase, and tells him that the capsule will crash. Chase flies down, enters the capsule to pull the Brake lever, and saves Natalia. The capsule lands in the giant teacup in Crescent Park. Curiously, during the post-game, the rocket can still be seen at Kings Court.
In LEGO Dimensions[]
In LEGO Dimensions, Blackwell Tower appears in Kings Court, in the LEGO City World.
